Overview

We’re hiring a Medical Records Clerk to support a Busy Specialty Medical Center seeing 120–200 patients daily across multiple specialties.

This role is critical to keeping patient information accurate, organized, and compliant , ensuring providers and staff have what they need to deliver high‑quality care in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

If you’re detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working behind the scenes to support patient care, this role was built for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintain, organize, and manage patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA
• Review records for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
• Scan, upload, and index medical documents into the EMR system
• Retrieve and distribute medical records for providers and authorized requests
• Process medical record requests from patients, providers, and insurance companies
• Handle Release of Information (ROI) requests efficiently and securely
• Collaborate with front and back office teams to ensure smooth record flow
• Support daily administrative and operational tasks related to health information management

Must‑Have Skills

• Medical records or healthcare administrative experience
• EMR/EHR proficiency
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Ambulatory or specialty clinic experience
• ROI processing experience
• Scanning and document management experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:30am–5:00pm

No nights. No weekends.
